Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding,  riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park with friends, family, significant others, or a travel group, this Durango in-town condominium is a great choice to stay in a spacious, comfortable, and cozy vacation rental home. 

This one bedroom plus loft bedroom condo is clean, comfortable with room for comfort and a location in town for convenience and ease of getting around to Durango area activities.  

A five minute drive reaches Historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment.   Driving about 30 minutes to the north will locate you at Purgatory Resort and the high Rocky Mountains.  Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40 minute drive to the West.

Walking through the well-kept courtyard area from the free, outside parking lot(s), accesses the private entrance of the “condo in the corner” up the stairs to the front door.  

Inside the home, the main level includes a large, open living room with flat screen TV, wood burning fireplace and a full size futon fold-out bed, plus a ‘hidden’ desk under the stairs with enough room for a laptop computer for the working, studying or gaming traveler.  Adjacent to the living room is a dining room with a table for six (with added leaf) and extra dining at the kitchen counter.  The galley style kitchen includes new appliances, ample cookware and utensils.

Down a short hallway, is the full bath, and further is the private bedroom with queen size bed, flat screen TV and large closet.  Also in the hallway is a laundry closet with stacking washer and dryer.

The trip up the spiral stairs in the living room leads to a large bedroom loft with privacy wall. This large bedroom contains two twin beds and sitting area, and is visually private from the living room below.

The community hot tub and swimming pool (Pool is closed in Winter) are located a short walk away, and the pool deck has plenty of room for lounging.  Also at the pool area are multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space for fun and enjoyment without having to leave the grounds.  Locker rooms for changing and a dry sauna are located inside next to the hot tub area. A clubhouse room is available for group gatherings (please contact us to schedule reserving this room).

While staying at this very comfortable condo, guests will have the convenience of being in Durango with all the conveniences of town, being close to wedding venues, Fort Lewis College for graduation, the start of the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic and the Durango Train as well as a short drive away from abundant outdoor activities in Southwest Colorado.

    Purgatory Ski Resort - 30 minutes, 24 miles
    Durango Train parking - 5 minutes, 1 mile
    Silverton, Colorado - 75 minutes, 50 miles

We were in town for a couple of days to check out Durango. This condo is in town just a couple of minutes from most of the restaurants and the Durango train.

Notes

A deposit on 25% is due at booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you are booking inside of 30 days prior to arrival then the total amount is due at booking.
 
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am.
