This beautifully-remodeled, condo has much to offer the traveler looking for a Durango vacation rental condominium with golf option, is just a few minutes drive (shuttle available) from Purgatory Ski Resort, surrounded by mountain scenery and conveniently located near many area attractions and activities for the best of both summer and winter fun.

Golf the ‘Valley Course’ at Glacier Club (May 1st - Oct 31st), with a tee time reservation that you can make as a guest of this vacation getaway (additional fees apply).  Enjoy casual dining the Mine Shaft Grill, located in the Valley Clubhouse for breakfast, lunch dinner and after-golf refreshments.  Also in the Clubhouse is the Pro Shop, with support, gear and a variety of outer layers to help you prepare for those ever-changing sub-alpine weather conditions while out on the links.

The Glacier Club is a beautiful and challenging course that is north of Historic Durango, surrounded by the extraordinary San Juan Mountains, and more than three million acres of National Forest land, where you’ll find an exceptional, amazing Rocky Mountain golf experience.

In winter, guests can have the choice of taking the Ski Shuttle or driving their own vehicles to Purgatory Resort, Durango’s ski destination, just ten minutes to the north of Tamarron.

Arrival at this home begins with convenient 24-hour check-in at the Lodge front desk, then a very short drive to this condominium located on a wooded hilltop overlooking the Glacier Club Golf Course and the mountains beyond.

A private parking lot near the front entrance is located near a half-flight of stairs and covered porch that lead to the private entrance of this home.

Inside, guests will find mountain-chic style décor, furniture and fixtures in the one-level-plus-loft space that includes an open living room, elegantly remodeled kitchen and a nicely appointed 3/4 bath.

The well-shaded living room is open to the kitchen, creating a comfortable, relaxed environment for lounging and an inviting retreat in which to return after the day’s activities, where comfort is provided by a large sofa that is also a queen-size sleeper, and contemporary recliner, large TV with satellite and streaming service  The East-facing, covered balcony brings natural light into the space, and with outdoor seating for four, is a private retreat to enjoy the tranquil scenery and mountain views.  The living room shares the same alpine views with the balcony, which is accessed via a glass sliding door.

The upstairs bedroom loft includes queen-size Sleep Number bed, and although open to the living area below, is private and cozy.  The loft is accessed via stairs highlighting the contemporary architectural style that seamlessly blends with rustic mountain touches and custom finishes throughout the condo. While the loft is comfortable and full standing height is possible, please be aware that one side of the room has a low ceiling due to the sloping roof above.

Tamarron Resort offers a number of services to complete the guest experience, such as massage and spa treatments, which are available by appointment.  The Fitness Center at the nearby Lodge includes facilities with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, outdoor hot tub, workout rooms with fitness and weight equipment, locker rooms, sauna, steam room and more.

This location is only 20 minutes from downtown Durango, and 10 minutes from Purgatory Resort. Enjoy skiing, snowboarding and sledding in the winter and explore hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails in the surrounding San Jan mountains all summer long. The little interaction was very professional and courteous.
Absolutely loved the property and would highly recommend and stay again.


In winter (November through April), It is Highly recommended that you have a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle, vehicles with medium to high clearance and winter/snow tires.  Although the roads and driveway are well-maintained, they will be snow packed and slick.

A deposit on 25% is due at booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you are booking inside of 30 days prior to arrival then the total amount is due at booking.

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am.
