This spacious home on an oversized lot, is set in the Animas Valley, on the edge of Durango at the gateway to the Rocky Mountains of Southwest Colorado. This beautiful home is a ten-minute drive from Historic downtown Durango’s Main Avenue, and about 20 minutes from Purgatory Resort, with the high mountains beyond.

The home is reached via paved roads, and is accessible year round. Outdoor parking for up to four vehicles is located directly in front of the home. Rural neighborhood living is a good general description of the location, with neighboring homes nearby, offering a reasonable level of privacy in this easy-to-reach residence.
The large living room on the upper level is complimented by a den on the lower level with billiard table, wet bar and board games. An additional kitchen is located on the lower level, providing a second food/coffee service area as needed.
Views of the mountains surrounding the Animas Valley can be seen from within and from outside the home, and the famous Durango Train passes in the view on a daily basis.
A few conveniences and amenities close to the home include Trimble Hot Springs Spa, the Waterfall Spa, PJ’s Gourmet Market, Dalton Ranch Golf Club, the Hermosa Creek trail system, Bar-D Chuckwagon entertainment and more.

A deposit on 25% is due at booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you are booking inside of 30 days prior to arrival then the total amount is due at booking.

Consistent with most Colorado mountain resorts, the home does not offer air-conditioning. Home is equipped with either a ceiling fan, box fan and at least one opening window to assist with climate control.
In winter (November through April), It is Highly recommended that you have a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle, vehicles with medium to high clearance and winter/snow tires. Although the roads and driveway are well-maintained, they will be snow packed and slick.
Please be aware that if we have a heavy snowfall, the highways and roads have to be plowed first so that emergency vehicles can get through then driveways will be done so your driveway may not be plowed first thing. They do not plow neighborhood roads or driveways unless we receive 5”-6” of snow.
